07 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 2 tablespoons reserved pasta water
09 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

# How-To Steps:
01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti or linguine until al dente following package directions. Reserve 2 tablespoons pasta water, then drain using a colander.
02 - Melt unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until aromatic without browning.
03 - Stir in lemon zest and fresh lemon juice, mixing thoroughly.
04 - Transfer drained pasta and reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss with tongs to evenly coat the pasta in the sauce.
05 - Add grated Parmesan and freshly ground black pepper. Continue tossing until cheese is melted and the sauce appears glossy. Season with salt as needed.
